Day 1: Hanoi – Cuc Phuong National Park

Our guide “Viet Wildlife Trips” will welcome and pick you up at Noi Bai Airport or Ha Noi City in the morning to go to Cuc Phuong National Park. (3 hours by transfer)

Cuc Phuong National Park was established in 1962 as the first National Park of Vietnam. All year round, the park is cover by tropical ever green forest, with many valuable natural, beautiful landscapes and diverse ecosystems. Cuc Phuong has become a famous and attractive location for exploring amphibians, reptiles, and wildlife photography.

The fauna in general, and particularly reptiles and amphibians, in Cuc Phuong National Park are rich and diverse with many strange, beautiful, rare species of high conservation value in terms of science and aesthetics.

Research on the reptiles and amphibians in Cuc Phuong, especially in recent years, has shown that Cuc Phuong has a very high level of biodiversity, ranking first in the system of National Park and conservation Area, Nature in region and the World.

Day 2 – 3: Cuc Phuong National Park

We will have two full days in the primary forest. About 125 species of amphibians and reptiles lives here, they are typical species distributed in the tropical rainforest area, we will go along to the small streams in the forest and wet trails to find and explore species such as:

Night spotting: (Depending on the weather condition, we can organize night – Spotting trips) :  We will have an evening walk in the primary forest to search for Owls and Pygmy lorises.

 Asian Barred owlet, Brown Howk owl, Collared owlet, Mountain scops owl, Clollaerd scops owl, Oriental Bay owl, Oriental scops owl, Sopt – bellied Eagle – owl, Brown Bookook.

Nocturnal animals:  Pygmy loris (Nycticebus pygmaeus), flying squirrel.

Day 4: Cuc Phuong National Park – Ha Noi City

After having the best shots, we are departure from Cuc Phuong National Park to Ha Noi International Airport for drop off location and say goodbye!
