Huyen Dinh is the Founder and CEO of Viet Wildlife Trips. Born and raised in a remote mountainous area near Cuc Phuong National Park—Vietnam’s first national park—he developed a deep connection with nature from an early age.

Inspired by a lifelong passion for wildlife, Huyen pursued studies in forestry and began his career working at Cuc Phuong National Park, where he focused on environmental education and community awareness for conservation.

Alongside his conservation work, Huyen has a strong passion for birdwatching and wildlife photography. Over the years, he has traveled extensively across Vietnam’s key biodiversity areas, observing and photographing birds and endemic primates. With more than 20 years of experience as a birding guide, he has led numerous tours and inspired many nature enthusiasts to engage in birdwatching and wildlife exploration.

Huyen’s vision is not only to deliver high-quality birding and wildlife experiences for international visitors, but also to encourage more Vietnamese people to connect with nature—fostering a deeper appreciation for the country’s rich biodiversity.

Tran Thanh Quang

Co-founder

Tran Thanh Quang is a co-founder of Viet Wildlife Trips and a wildlife guide with over ten years of experience in conservation and fieldwork. Born in Central Vietnam, he developed a deep connection with nature from an early age and later studied at Vietnam National University of Forestry.

With a background in Primate Conservation, Quang now focuses on transforming field knowledge into meaningful wildlife experiences. He plays a key role in designing and operating tours, ensuring each journey is both authentic and grounded in real conservation insight.

As a guide and photographer, Quang brings a thoughtful and hands-on approach, helping guests connect more deeply with Vietnam’s unique wildlife and landscapes.
