Day 1: Ha Noi – Hang Giang Province

In the early morning: Our team “ Viet Wildlife Trips’’ will pick you up from Hanoi (or Noi Bai airport), to go to Ha Giang  Province.

We will arrive in Ha Giang City at around 2h00 Pm.

We have check in the homestay to rest and prepare clothing and equipment for next day.

Day 2 – 3 – 4 – 5:

We will spend four full days to go hiking and exploring in the deep jungle. We will camp in the core protected area where the Langur Protect Team are staying. 

Every early morning is when the langurs go foraging and late afternoons is when they prepare to go back to their sleeping cave. These are the best time to capture their pictures.

The Tonkin Snub –Nosed Monkey only appears in a few isolated forest in the North of Vietnam. This is a Critically Endangered species with only about 200 left. Their main threat are illegal hunt and habitat loss even though they are protected by law. Khau Ca is the species core protected habitat area which currently has the largest population of this species about 100 individuals.

Key features: Dark- colored back, arms , and tail, whitish underparts and top of head, blue face, pink mouth, long tail.

Day 6: Ha Giang – Ha Noi City

After having breakfast, we will leave Ha Giang to go back to Hanoi
